Women and Fair Trade Festival Website
We are thrilled to invite you to this year’s Women and Fair Trade Festival, happening November 22–23, 2025, from 10 am–5 pm at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (4700 Grover Ave, Austin, TX 78756)!
For over two decades, our festival has brought together women’s cooperatives from around the world to Austin, creating a marketplace rooted in economic justice, cultural exchange and community gathering. We are honored to host women-led artisan cooperatives from Mexico, Palestine, Guatemala, Ecuador, India, and the US, including Jolom Mayaetik, Palestine Online Store, Fuerza Unida, Colores del Pueblo, Marigold Gateway to India, UPAVIM, Warmipa Huasy, and Las Rancheritas/Rug Hook Project.
This year’s festival is made extra special with an exceptional lineup of live music performers, poetry/spoken word, and a special film screening on Sunday facilitated by the Palestinian Youth Movement (more details to come!).
This festival is about more than a vibrant craft market. It’s about:
- Supporting women’s cooperatives that offer living alternatives to exploitative global production systems.
- Encouraging buyers to choose small, autonomous producers > corporate profit.
- Bridging the gap between artisans and consumers through direct connection, storytelling, and fair trade.
